Guided tours

Groups can book a professional guide from the Hermitage Amsterdam: T +31 (0)20 530 87 55 or Price: € 90 per tour (not including admission to the exhibition), maximum 15 persons. Guided tours are available in Dutch, English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, Turkish, Arabic and Berber. Groups may also visit the Hermitage Amsterdam with their own guide. Advance booking is essential via or T +31 (0)20 530 87 55.


On request, the Hermitage Amsterdam can arrange for a lecture to be given in one of the three conference rooms. Price: € 175 per lecture (not including admission to the exhibition or the cost of hiring the room). The number of persons that may attend depends on the room (24, 30 or 60 persons).


Special audiotours giving extra information about the works are produced for all the exhibitions at the Hermitage Amsterdam. They are available in Dutch and English and in a changing third language. There is also information about the permanent displays: relations between Russia and the Netherlands, the history of the building and the care of the elderly. Price: € 3 each. Reservations may be made via (available from 6 May 2009).

Disabled access

All the rooms and facilities are wheelchair-friendly. There are three toilets for the disabled. Wheelchairs or rollators may be reserved via (available from 6 May 2009). The building has three lifts.

Museum shops

The Hermitage Amsterdam has two museum shops located on the ground floor under the two exhibition wings. There will also be a Children’s Gift Shop in the Hermitage for Children.

Study centre

The study entre is located on the ground floor of the Nieuwe Herengracht wing, next to the shop. Admission is free to all. Visitors will find here information about the current exhibition and Russian history, St Petersburg and Amstelhof.
