Hermitage Amsterdam
The Hermitage Amsterdam is managed by the Stichting Hermitage aan de Amstel and has an agreement with the Russian government to produce exhibitions together with the State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg. The Stichting Hermitage aan de Amstel commissions the Stichting Producties De Nieuwe Kerk en Hermitage Amsterdam to organise the exhibitions at the Hermitage Amsterdam. The Hermitage Amsterdam is an independent and autonomous legal entity with its own money flows and its own objectives.
The Stichting Producties De Nieuwe Kerk en Hermitage Amsterdam
The Stichting Producties De Nieuwe Kerk en Hermitage Amsterdam organises exhibitions at the Nieuwe Kerk Amsterdam and at the Hermitage Amsterdam at the request of both bodies. They have earned a place of their own within the national and international museum world.
The Stichting Producties De Nieuwe Kerk en Hermitage Amsterdam has 38 employees in 5 departments. We also make use of a pool of about 40 workers on stand-by who man the ticket desk, cloakroom and shops. Click here for the organogram.
Opening hours
Hermitage Amsterdam is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesdays to 8 pm. Closed on January 1st and December 25th
