Museum Shops

The two museum shops are located at the entrances to the two exhibition wings, and each has a floor space of 260 m2 (2,800 square feet). The range of items will generally relate to the current exhibition, so that for the inaugural show, At the Russian Court, there will be jewellery, costume books, fans, ball music, and picture postcards, in addition to the exhibition catalogue and other books. The shop will also have a permanent stock of items such as Russian literature, music and films, as well as notebooks and a wide selection of art books. Special Hermitage Amsterdam merchandise will also be available.

During the first exhibition, which will be installed in both wings, the two museum shops will be open simultaneously. Thereafter, they will open alternately. The shop is open to all visitors to the building, not just those attending the exhibition, daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Wednesday to 8 p.m.

There will also be children’s books for various ages. The Hermitage Amsterdam merchandise and catalogues will be on sale, too.
